The latest statistics of TEDA, economic- technological development area, showed that Tianjin NewScen bio-pharmaceutical is in the leading position among TEDA bio-pharmaceutical industries.

TEDA-Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area was founded in December 6th, 1984, with the approval of state council of People’s Republic of China and worked as the first batch of national economic- technological development areas. “TEDA” is the abbreviation for Tianjin economical development area. As a branch organ of municipal government, it is exercised unified management by managing committee of TEDA on behalf of Tianjin municipal government, and it has provincial level authority on administration and management.

Through many years’ development, 9 leading industries of TEDA has contained electric communication industry, automobile and machinery manufacture industry, biomedicine industry, food and drink industry, new material energy ,ecological and environmental industry, equipment manufacturing industry,petrochemical and fine chemical industry, aerospace industry, modern service industry. In 2010, bio-pharmaceutical industries in TEDA achieved a production output totaling to 1.1657 billion yuan RMB, up 25.5% over the same period of last year.

Large scale medicine manufacture corporations, such as GlaxoSmithKline, Novonordisk, Novozymes.

Medical device manufacture corporations, such as Hanaco, MED, Xinnuomeide.

CRO service outsourcing corporations，such as WuXi AppTec,Fangsi,Asymchem,state stem cell study center –Amcellgene.

Traditional Chinese medicine corporation, such as Zhongxin Parmaceuticals, Huajin Parmaceutical and Kingyork Group.

Zhongxin Pharmaceutical have set 10 corporations in TEDA，main managements are producting, processing and selling of herbal drugs and patent medicines, purchasing and processing of the Chinese medicine, which is one of the largest medicine production corporations in TEDA.
